We're delighted to launch a new daily radiotherapy route from Mitchelstown via Fermoy to Cork University Hospital and Bon Secours Hospital Cork, helping more people access vital cancer treatment without the worry of travel.
For over 15 years, Cancer Connect has been supporting people across Cork with free, compassionate transport to cancer treatment and appointments. Thanks to our incredible volunteers, we've completed more than 65,000 journeys – and now we're growing to meet increasing demand.
To make this new service possible, we're looking for 20 volunteer drivers. All you need is a standard Category B driving licence and the ability to volunteer just one day a month. Your time could make a real difference to someone facing cancer treatment.
If you'd like to help keep this vital service on the road, please get in touch with the Cancer Connect team to find out more on 021 2038525 or email us on info@cancerconnect.ie
